“Old Days” like Harry James
and his swingin’ band. Tuesday
night I had the good fortune of
seeing Harry James and his or-

Wilkes-Barre.
Arrangement has been made
by the utility for the telephone
number no longer assigned to
its Pittston office to be tran-

“foreign exchange’’ line direct
to the Wilkes-Barre office so
that customers accustomed to
calling the number when
contacting Pennsylvania Gas
and Water Company may
continue to dial the same phone
number. In addition, 24-hour
telephone service is available
for customer inquiries at 824-

In place of the closed facility,
customers have two new
locations at which the utility
bills may be paid: First Valley

payment stations are also
located at Llewellyn Drug
Store, Avoca; Redicka Phar-

Drug Store, Exeter; and
Chelland’s Super Market, Old
Forge. Payment of bills may
also be mailed to Pennsylvania

Box 598, Wilkes-Barre.
Pittston office personnel have
been given the option of tran-
sferring to either the company
offices in Wilkes-Barre or

There is no change in the
operations and maintenance
departments of the company in
the Pittston area. Personnel
