Thirty members and guests were present. The Auxiliary to = the Trucksville Fire Company held a meeting and Christmas party in the fire hall Monday evening. A covered dish preceded the business meeting. Ruth Turn Reynolds had charge of the program. The Roushey sisters sang several selections. The group sang carols and ex- changed greetings. Wylie, Cliffside Avenue, will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, Dec. 21 Mrs. Wylie is the former Audrey Weber of Wilkes-Barre. The couple has three daughters. Mr. Wylie is employed by Faith Shoe Company in Wilkes-Barre. Richard Harrison, Staub Road, will celebrate his 15th birthday Dec. 23. Richard, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Harrison Sr., shot a buck at Forkston, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Shortz, Harris Hill Road, entertained the Mr. and Mrs. Club at their home Saturday evening. Members enjoyed music and carol singing. 17 members attended. Mr. and Mrs. John Kannan, Holly Street, will observe their 35th wedding anniversary, Dec. 31. They were married in the First Presbyterian Church, S. Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre, by the Rev. Martyn Decker Keeler. Attendants were Betty Williams of Trucksville and Harold Fraley of Forty Fort. Mr. Kannan, now retired, was plant manager at Woodlawn and Foremost Daries, for 35 years. Carolyn Jane Stout, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stout, Staub Road, and Brian Jay Wadas, will take their marriage vows Jan. 12. The ceremony will take place in the Glenview Primitive Methodist Church in Fernbrook. Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Watters and daughter, Nicol, of Trucksville Gardens, will leave Thursday for a month’s stay in Australia. \. Holly S. Phillips has been pledged by Delta Delta Delta Sorority at the Pennsylvania State University. Alan Nichols, Carverton Road, has been elected a director of Crime Clinic of the Greater Wyoming Valley at the annual dinner and Christmas party held by the group at the Pennsylvania Gas and Water Company office, North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. Airman Richard D. Caccia, Chase Road, has been assigned to Beal Air Force Base in California, after completing his basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. Mrs. William Millham and infant son have returned to their home at 138 Shadetree Road, from Nesbitt Hospital. Bonnie Baird, Cliffside Avenue, will return to her classes at Indinia State University in January. Bonnie has completed her studies at the Lehman Campus of the Penn- sylvania State University for the fall semester.
