pating teas for the benefit of the
Penn Mountains Council, Boy
Scouts of America. Eleven
guests attended the tea and

preside of the local Boy Scout
Council, explain the position of
the scout organization and its
recovery ‘program since the
June flood.
Each of the 11 guests at the
tea offered to host a similar get
together and invite 10 of their
friends to explain the Boy Scout
program and recovery effort.

their friends for the same
purpose. This process continues
in this diminishing pattern until
only four or five guests are
attending the teas.
The Penn Mountains Council,
Boy Scouts of America, was
dealt a severe blow by Hurri-
cane Agnes, both financially
and membership wise. The
Participating Teas is an at-
tempt by the local scout organi-
zation to educate more people
as to the purposes and pro-
grams of the scouting move-
ment and the recovery steps
being taken by the local scout
council. :

was featured on the program at
a recent meeting of the Luzerne
County Mothers of Twins Club.
Members of the panel shared
their views and experiences as
twins with members present.
Participating on the panel

a film and answer questions on
