Lt. Robert D. Lorah of

Miss Nagle is employed as a
medical secretary at the
Nesbitt Hospital. Mr. Lorah is
stationed at Chanute AFB,
Rantoul, Ill., where he is a
member of the operating staff
at the Chanute Regional
Hospital.

This ‘‘bug’’ that’s going
around is making its rounds
among my neighbors. First one
family is down in bed, and in a
couple of days another is down.
So far everyone has gotten over
it, but the hardest hit was
Stanley Wempa of Second
Street, who was rushed to the
~ General Hospital in the Lake
ambulance. He was admitted
the last of December and is still
there, having a rough time of it.
We, his friends and neighbors,
want him to know we are
wishing him a speedy recovery.
Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Tat-
tersall, Warden Place, Lake
Side Hotel, held a New Year’s
Eve party in the main dining
room of their hotel. Present
