Santa Arrives
At Trucksville
Over 650 children attended
the Christmas party held by the
Trucksville Volunteer Fire
Company Saturday afternoon.
Santa Claus, through the
courtesy of Sheldon Williams,
arrived at the Trucksville Fire -
Hall on Trucksville’s No. 1 fire
engine and welcomed all the
children to speak to him. Each
child received a gift and was
served cookies and orange
drink.
Thomas Schmidle, chairman
of the party, expressed his
thanks to firemen, the women’s
auxiliary, and to those persons
who donated items to help
defray the costs of the party.

night for a Christmas dinner at the American Legion Home in
Wilkes-Barre. Club members, above, were entertained by the
. Dal-Hi Chorus under the direction of Mrs. Robert Sherwood. The
