Dallas Senior High School choral group, under the direction of Florence Sherwood, presented a program of Christmas selections at the holiday luncheon of Irem Temple Women’s Auxiliary held at Irem Temple Country Club. Dallas United Methodist Church School program was held Sunday at 6:30 p.m. Reese Pelton directed the Dallas Junior High Brass Choir in selected carols. Marilyn Miller accompanied the children’s choir on the organ. Mrs. Dale Campbell directed the children. Mrs. Clyde Duffield was in charge of a social hour following the program. Churchwomen of Prince of Peace Episcopal Church met Wednesday at 10 a.m. The Rev. John Prater delivered the Christmas message following the business meeting. Each woman brought her lunch and gift packages which were ex- changed. Dessert was served by the committee in charge. Members of the Crown Im- perialette League held their Christmas party last weekend at Brothers Four Restaurant, Main Street, Dallas. Mrs. Cornell has’ in- corporated the production of elementary art program. seasonal decorations into the Misericordia Alumnae Name Campaign Goal Fifty thousand dollars has been set as the goal for the 14th annual giving campaign being conducted by College Miseri- cordia Alumnae Association, according to Mrs. Willard Garey, director of the associa- tion. The annual campaign is scheduled to begin Jan. 1. Over 4,000 College Miseri- cordia alumnae are being solicited to contribute to the Greenstreet News For Wedding Stationery 675-5211 campaign, according to Mrs. Garey, with regional alumnae associations being encouraged to work and contribute as a group. Money resulting from the campaign will be used to promote both the physical and academic expansion of the college. The campaign will be con- ducted through June 1, 1972. A request from the Everhart Museum for a grant of $2,000 to the museum’s general fund was tabled after School Board President Edgar Lashford commented that such a sum “‘is neither budgeted nor available” for a contribution to the museum. Programs to be funded by NDEA Title III monies will be prepared by Lake-Lehman educators and administration, following approval by the board. Programs must be outlined and submitted to NDEA officials for approval before grants are made.
