Kozemchak Sr. Cub Pack 233 Toasts Christmas with Party ~ More than 100 children and parents attended the annual Christmas party of Cub Pack 233 of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Shavertown, last week. - Cubmaster John Zoykowski provided the guidance for his party committee and den mother group, who helped get the holiday season off to a gay start. A Christmas tree was donated by Palmer Updyke, Kunkle. Through the cooperative efforts of many local businessmen, many gifts and tasty refresh- ments were available to the children. Barbara Reese played the organ as Santa Claus made his appearance, thrilling the boys and girls as he presented each with numerous gifts. St. Stanis- laus Orphanage will be pre- sented with the treats that were extra. A drawing was held and two boys from each den received door prizes, which were donated also by local businessmen. The Cub Pack recently 717-675-0721 conducted a successful light bulb sale. Prizes were awarded to the boys who sold the most light bulbs. Prizes were won by Michael Endrusick, John Lyons, Joseph Barrett, Anthony Barbose, William Breeden, Michael Polk, Frank Yamrick, Leon Kern, Alex Zoykowski and Charles Youngman. The next pack meeting will be held Jan. 3, 7 p.m., at which time inspection will take place. The Weblo den will demon- strate a knot-tying exhibit under direction of Arthur Hayston and den chief Ricky Weir. 8 Cubmaster Zoykowski re- ported that due to the eagerness * 4 of the boys and the fine adult participation, Cub Scout Pack 233 is enjoying one of its most successful seasons. + Due to a tightened deadline schedule, no publicity infor- mation can be accepted later than 4 p.m. Monday unless the event takes place that day or night.
