A fall Bible conference on the
theme, “Maturing in Family
Living,” will be conducted by
Dr. Gilbert A. Paterson at the
Osterhout Bible Church of
Tunkhannock, Sept. 19, 22, 27,
and Oct. 4 and 11. The opening
session will convene at 10:30
Sunday morning, Sept. 19, with
the subsequent evening services
commencing at 7:30 p.m.
Dr. Peterson is academic
dean of Philadelphia College of
Bible, Philadelphia, where he
has taught since 1960 and has
served as chairman of the
Department of Christian Edu-
cation from 1961-1970. He took
his undergraduate work at
Shelton College (B.A.) and his
graduate work at New York
University (M.A. and Ed. D.).
Victor W. Decker, pastor of
the Osterhout Bible Church for
nearly 23 years, says, ‘We feel

to bring the vital and practical
ministry of this leading Christ-:

a special meeting on Monday,
the 20th of September, 1971, at
7:15 o'clock P.M. EDST, at the
Dallas Township Municipal
Building.

ORDINANCE NO. 1971-3
LAYING OUT AND
OPENING ROBBINS ROAD
Be it ordained and enacted by
the Board of Supervisors of
Dallas Township as follows:
Section 1. Robbins Road
begins at the point on Hamilton
Road in the Haddonfield
allotment of Dallas Township,
said point being 335 feet distant
in an easterly direction from the
intersection of Hamilton Road
and Idlewood Drive, said
Hamilton Road and Idlewood
Drive having been laid out and
opened by - Dallas Township
Ordinance No. 1961-4, filed in
the Court of Quarter Sessions of
Luzerne County at No. 210, June
Sessions, 1961. From said point
Robbins Road extends to the
northwest and then to the
northeast a distance of 1,300 feet
to a point on the same Hamilton
Road, said point being distant in
a southerly direction 340 feet
from the junction of said
Hamilton Road and Idlewood
Drive (this portion of Hamilton
Road was laid out and opened
by Dallas Township Ordinance
No. 1965-1, filed in the Court of
Quarter Sessions of Luzerne
County as No. 2160 of 1965).

will be held at the Dymond
Hollow United Methodist
Church Sept. 18. The menu,
which will be served from 4:30
to 7 p.m., will include
homegrown vegetables,
homemade cupcakes, fruit
squares, rolls, ham, chicken,
and meatballs. The affair is
under the sponsorship of the
WSCS.
