Alexander, 99 Daven- port St., Dallas, and James T. Coburn, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Coburn, Shavertown. The Rev. Douglas Akers per- formed the double ring cere- mony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown fashioned of soft organza en- riched with beaded Alencon lace. Her cathedral length man- tilla veil of silk illusion was edged in Alencon lace and pearls. She carried a colonial bouquet of white roses, baby’s breath, and white daisies with satin streamers. Donna Lockhart, maid of honor, wore a deep purple gown of Georginna over taffeta and a white picture nat. She carried a basket of white daisies and purple asters with satin streamers. Virginia Mahon and Kathleen Theatre 3 Realizes Goal The 1971 Theatre 3 benefactor! campaign at College Miseri- cordia concluded Aug. 11, with a final report meeting of cam- paign team captains. The campaign was hailed a ‘‘great success ’iby Louis F. Goeringer, generafrchairman, as the campaign went over the goal of 300 benefactors by nearly 10 percent. gthe final tally was 327 benefacto¥s registered for the 1971-72 Theatre 3 season. Following final reports by the 12 campaign team captains, Mr. Goeringer thanked them for their excellent support in the campaign. He noted that the results exceeded last year’s by 20 percent and represented the largest number of benefactors in the 13-year history of Theatre 3 campaigns. Reiterating his prediction made at the begin- ning of the campaign, Mr. Goeringer said that “thirteen” really had been a lucky number as this was the 13th campaign. Sister Miriam Teresa, RSM, president of College Miseri- cordia, also addressed the team captains and expressed her gratitude to them and to their team members for the success of the campaign.
