Following the dinner Mrs. Robert Yarashus, vice president, conducted a short business meeting. Various reports were given. The annual trip to the Pocono Playhouse was discussed. Mrs. Thomas Ochman, chairman, decided on “Fiddler on the Roof.” Co- chairman is Mrs. Edward Petty. The play will be presented June 30 and the bus will depart from the church grounds ‘at 5 p.m. Dinner arrangements preceding the play are being completed. The program for the evening was a wig demonstration and discussion held by Joseph Shimkus of Dallas. Father Joseph F. Sammons, pastor of St. Therese’s hosted the West Luzerne Deanery Diocesan Council of Catholic Women at a tea, June 13, in the church hall. Mrs. John Luke was in charge of decorations.
