Announces Prizes
Prizes to be chanced off at the
annual Library Auction have
been announced by John
Casner, Auction chairman.
A Zenith Chromacolor 23-inch
console TV of contemporary
design will go to the lucky win-
ner of the first prize. An
alternate prize of $500 cash may
be chosen by the first prize win-
ner.
Second prize will be a Zenith
stereo fashioned of pecan or oak
in a Mediterranean design; a
cash prize of $250 is being of-
fered as an optional second
prize.
An RCA portable black and
white TV or $100 in cash will be
awarded to the person who
holds the third prize chance.
Information pertaining to the
purchase of chances will be
available soon.

youngsters wore during the
winter has changed to include
Easter bonnets and lighter
weight jackets.

Allan J. Cease Receives
Master of Divinity Degree
Allan J. Cease, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Thomas E. Cease, 142
Franklin St., Dallas, received a
master of divinity degree from
Wesley Theological Seminary
May 24.
Mr. Cease holds an A.B.
degree from Lycoming College
in Williamsport, graduating
Magna Cum Laude. He also
graduated from Wyoming Sem-
inary in Kingston, in 1963.
While attending seminary,
Mr. Cease served Slocum
United Methodist Church from
1968-1969. Presently, he is min-
ister at Derr. Memorial—Ben-

The fourth grade
mathematics class of Arlene
Ruth at Lehman-Jackson Ele-
mentary School have been busy
during the past weeks compos-
ing limericks. Miss Ruth gave
the assignment to her students
as a motivating incentive to
learn their multiplication
tables. Each student was asked
to submit a limerick. Below are

Wesley Theological Seminary
is located in Washington, D.C.
and is one of the 14 United Meth-
odist Theological seminaries.
Its current enrollment of 319 is
the highest in its history in con-
trast to 278 last year. The
students come from 35 states
and seven foreign countries.
They represent 42 annual con-
ferences of the United Church
and 17 other denominations and
are graduates of 147 colleges
and universities. More than
1,200 Wesley alumni serve the
church and related ministries
across the world.
While at Wesley, Mr. Cease
has been active in Seminary
Singers, singing with the group
for four years, playing the
trumpet in the Singers’ Brass
Ensemble.
After from
Wesley, Mr. Cease plans to con-
tinue in pastoral ministry and to
continue advanced studies. He
plans to join the Wyoming Con-
ference of the United Methodist
Church.
