Joseph's Glee Club to present a concert in Dallas, April 23.

Auxiliary to Trucksville Fire
Company will hold their
meeting in the fire hall Monday
night at 8. Mrs. Nicholas Ko-
neck will preside.
Friendship Class of Trucks-
ville United Methodist Church
will meet in the educational
building Tuesday evening at
7:30. Mrs. Donald Anderson will
preside. Ruth Merriel will give
the Bible study.
Mrs. Duncan Montgomery,
Madasquan, N.J., will spend the
holiday weekend with her son
and daughter-inlaw, Mr. and
Mrs. Richard Montgomery and
family, Hickory Street.
Lori Gaylord, Lewis Avenue,
was a participant in the Spring
Music Festival held at Mans-
field State Teachers College
Saturday. The event is held an-
up, Paint up’ campaign
scheduled to kick off May 1.
Dallas Senior Women’s Club
will hold a salad luncheon April
14 at St. Therese’s Church
auditorium, Shavertown. There
will be a fashion show by
Bergman’s Department Store.
Mrs. Lester Jordon and Mrs.
Leonard Cowett are members
of the arrangement committee.
Robert L. Casper, Huntsville
Road, was elected treasurer of
Congregation B’nai B'rith of
Wilkes-Barre at the 126th an-
nual meeting of the
congregation recently held in
the temple.
Anthony Toluba, Carverton
Road, is recuperating at home
after cutting a finger while

Linda Carle, Harris Hill
Road, will entertain the ‘Young
Audlt’ group of Trucksville
United Methodist Church at her
home Monday evening, April 12.

Woodtip Drive, Westmoreland
Hills, is on exhibition at the
Sheeby Student Center King’s
College. Viewing hours from 8
a.m. to midnight; and Saturday
and Sunday, 9 a.m. until mid-
night. Jane, a graduate of
Dallas High School, was
graduated from Bryn Mawr
with a degree in elementary
education in 1967. She will
graduate from College Miseri-
cordia in May with a BA degree
in art education.

The College Misericordia
Glee Club will combine with the
Glee Club from St. Joseph’s
College of Philadelphia to
present a public concert at
College Misericordia, April 23,
it was announced by Sister Eric
Marie Setlock, RSM, director of
the College Misericordia group.
The two glee clubs will present
the free concert in Walsh Audi-
torium on campus at 8:30 p.m.
The public is invited to attend.:

Sunrise Service
on Easter Sunday
The Dallas Baptist Church, 42
Mill St., Dallas, will observe
Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30
a.m. The regular Easter service
will be at 11 a.m. If you have not

Jackson Township
to serve spaghetti
The Jackson Township
Ambulance Association will
serve an Italian style spaghetti
dinner April 27 at the Jackson
Township Fire Hall. Serving
will begin at 5p.m. and continue
until 7. Takeouts will be avail-
able from 4:30 until 5 p.m. only.
Customers must take their own
containers.
The menu includes spaghetti
and meatballs, Italian bread,
relish plate, cake and coffee.
The deadline for purchase of
tickets is April 22. Tickets can
be purchased from William
Wisely, Don Shaffer, Louise
Lamoreaux, Marge Zbick, Jeff
Wagner, Carol Moyer, Mary
Laskowski, Gary and Johanna
Miller, all members of the
Association.
Proceeds will go towards the
erection of a garage to house the
ambulance.
