auto theft
reported
at Isaacs
There is a 1971 Plymouth
Roadrunner whose driver did no
go through the formality of buy-
ing the car from Howard Isaacs
Sales and Service, 163 S.
Memorial Hwy., Trucksville.
The discovery of a car mis-
sing from Isaacs’ parking lot
was made at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday
morning by William MacMillan,
an employee. The vehicle was
stolen sometime between 9 p.m.
Monday night and 6 a.m.
Tuesday morning.
Person or persons unknown
entered the service building
through a window on the roof.
The window casing was forced
and the window then removed.
The thief jumped to the garage
floor. Ignition keys were taken
from a board in the garage
proper.
The person(s) went outside to |
the parking lot and drove away |
the Plymouth Roadrunner.
Valued at over $4,000, the
vehicle is described as metallic
blue with black vinyl top. There
were no license plates on the
car, but an inventory is being
taken to determine if any plates
are missing from other vehicles
or dealer’s license plates. |
Patrolman Elliott Ide in-
vestigated and alerted State!
Police. A county alarm was put
out at 7:45 a.m. i
