The Key Club, band, majorettes, orchestra, Dave Jones, BSC cager Dave Jones, Shavertown, was listed among the players whose names were recently released by Bloomsburg State College as the leading scorers on the BSC frosh basketball team. ° Dave, a 1970 graduate of Dallas Senior High School, has been averaging 10.5 points per game for the 10 games played to date. NMSQT’s Some of the Junior students will be trying for a national merit scholarship by participat- ing in the NMSQT tests, Feb. 13. After going through all that, a day off from school is welcome. On Feb. 15, we’ll have our first day off since Christmas. post office closed Feb. 15 George Washington’s birth- day will be observed Monday, Feb. 15. The Dallas Post Office * will be closed, it was announced by Postmaster Ed Buckley. There will be no window service, but the lobby will be open from 7a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for those customers who have post office boxes. There will be no delivery of mail by city or rural carriers. Special delivery service will be provided within the city delivery limits. Mail will be dispatched to Wilkes-Barre at 5:30 p.m. Trucksville WSCC plans fashion show The WSCS of the Trucksville Methodist Church will sponsor a spring fashion show and tea March 4 at 8 in the Trucksville Educational Building.
