Caller Carl Hanks and his Circle Eighters, a group of dancers from Wyoming Valley and the Back Mountain Area, played host along with the Abington Allemanders, Pioneer Promenaders, Rare Squares and the Saints and Ain’ts. Mn: Hanks, joined by ‘Dick Jones; Long; island; N.Y:; Harry Lackey, Greenboro, N.C.; Red Correll, Waymart, and Dot and Murray Truax, did the calling: One room was used for round dancing and one for challenge dancing.
