The new officers for the 1970- 71 term of the Dallas Kiwanis Club were installed at the reg- ular meeting of Kiwanis at Irem Temple Country Club, Oct. 7. Installation was done by the im- mediate past District Governor, Dr. Xavier Chiampi. The immediate past Lieuten- ant Governor, District 15, Xavier Abbott, presented the Kiwanis Home Club banner to two cars damaged in Rt. 309 crash The intersection at Center Hill Road and Route 309 was the scene of a two-car accident Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 3:27 p.m. Patrolman Carl Miers, Dallas Township, reported the two drivers involved were Anthony Sperlazzo, 38, of 933 Narrow St., West Wyoming, and George Lamoreaux, 88, of RD 4, Dallas. Miers said neither was injured. The account given was that Sperlazzo was traveling north on Route 309. Lamoreaux’s car was proceeding across the high- way from Center Hill Road to Hilderbrandt Road, but did not get across before being struck by the Sperlazzo vehicle.
