amount of funds that will be re-
quired by the School District in
its several departments for the
1970-71 fiscal year is available

man-Jackson Elementary

It is the purpose of the Board
of Directors of the Lake-
Lehman School District to adopt
this proposed budget after
making such revisions in it as
are deemed advisable and levy
the proposed taxes at a special
meeting of the Lake-Lehman

Lake legion names
“Man of the Lake”
American Legion Post 967
held their April meeting at
Casey's Hill Top Inn with Com-
mander Gene Tilghman pre-
siding. Final plans for the “Man
of the Lake’ were made. This
year’s man is John Miliauskas,
Lake-Lehman band director.
The affair was held May 9 at
Casey’s Hill Top Inn. Public is
invited. Charles Murphy Jr. will
also be honored.
American Legion Auxiliary’s
regular meeting was held at
Daniel C. Roberts Fire Hall
with Francis Desiderio, pres-
ident, presiding.
Chaplain Rosemary Engle
gave the opening prayer.
Secretary Millie Bozek read the
minutes from the last meeting.
Fran Yankoski gave her report.
Hostesses for this meeting
were Fran Desiderio and Ann
Crake. Mystery prizes were
won by Virginia Sorber and
Helen Wadowski. Hostesses for
the May meeting were Virginia
Sorber and Margaret Grey.
