chest down. He has to return
to the hospital for a checkup"

it if friends would drop him
a line. Jimmie was hit by a
car about a month ago while
crossing a street in Wyoming.
Jack Prebola, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Andrew Prebola,
enlisted in the Reserves and
left recently for Polk, La.

months before going on to

I was sorry to hear about
Andrew Kozemchak’s and
John Piskorick’s passing away
last week. I knew both gentle-
men a long time and would
like to express my deepest
. sympathy to both families.
Barbara Bliss fell and
sprained her wrist Saturday.
Mrs. Carl Evans, Wilkes-
Barre, is a patient at the
Wyoming Valley Hospital.
She is a former Back Moun-
tain resident.
Arlene Hottle and children,
Cathy, Sandra and John, are
spending some time with rel-
atives in Florida.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Daley,
Ridge Street, Fernbrook, have
returned to their home after
spending two weeks vacation-
ing at the home of their daugh-
ter, Karen Jeane, A-3 AN,
stationed at Pensacola, Fla.
They also went to Mexico
where they saw a bull fight
which they enjoyed. On the
way down, they stopped at
New Orleans and in Virginia.

stitches removed from his
index finger Tuesday. Rod-
rick got his finger caught
in a chain at his place of
employment, Valley Paper-
back Company, Fernbrook.
