The facilities for psychological ther-

Sports
. Wrestling practice started today.
There's a large turnout this year
from which a team is to be chosen.
It will be coached by Mr. Alan
Husband, and assistant coach, Mr.
Bamrick.
Basketball practice, under the
coaching of head coach Mr. Clinton
Brokst and assistant coach Mr. Rob-
ert Cicon, began on Monday, Octo-
ber 31st. .

NEDT Test Given
The NEDT test was given on Sat-
urday, November 5th.
Band Needed
Correction: We won't be able to
have Mel Wynn for the Christmas
dance because of another engage-
ment. We're trying to get the Star-
fires as a replacement.

New Teacher
For this week’s edition we have
interviewed the new German teach-
er, Mrs. Mathers. She was born in |
Mayen-Koblenz, Germany. She at-|
tended Mayen High School and
graduated from Bonn College in Ger-
many. Mrs. Mathers came to Ameri-
ca ten years ago and is presently
residing in Trucksville. Her hobbies
are camping and skiing. Mrs. Math-
ers thinks the students are nice and
the faculty is friendly and cooper-
ative. Welconie, Mrs. Mathers!!!

Last week we played a tough |
game against Central Catholic at
Kirby Park. Although awe lost 13-
7, a good, defensive game was play- |
ed by LaBerge, Lefko, Hoover,
Dukinas and McDonald, Our touch- |
down was scored by Bob Post with |
Scott Lefko making the extra point. |
This was the last 9th grade game
of the season. Our season’s record
was 1 win, 2 ties, and 4 losses. The
eighth grade team played two games
against Tunkhannock which resulted
in 1 tie and 1 loss.

won a $25 War Bond for drawing
