IN LOVING MEMORY OF
DR. BENJAMIN G. GROBLEWSKI
Death has struck this
within the last few months, but
none of its victims will be mourned
more widely nor more deeply than
Dr. Benjamin G. Groblewski, who
answered the final summons one
year ago today, August 3, 1865.
Dr. Ben needs no wordy ‘eulogy.
His life stands as his finest memo- |
j rial. Nothing that can be said about
him now can improve ‘the splendid
memory he leaves with the people
who knew “him. It is difficult to
believe that a man so much a part
of life in this section for so few
years has left us. It seems scarcely
possible that Dr. Ben's life, filled
with so many things and spreading
in so many directions could suddenly
and completely be snapped off. Per-
haps we find it so difficult because
we do not want to believe he is
gone. We cannot recall meeting,
either in his office or in our homes,
when he was not in a smiling and
honest, |
jovial mood. His hearty,
cheerful manner was a tonic to his
patients who came in contact with
him, even when he was so ill him-
self.
He has gone, but not forgotten
as long as life and memory last.
We miss. you now, our
are sore.
As time goes by we miss you |
more. ;
No one can ever fill your place.
Your loving smile, your gentle
face,
Sadly missed by his friends;
