Car Inspection A reminder was issued to motor- ists and motrcyclists today that the current semi-annual inspection cam- paign is rapidly drawing to a close. State Traffic Safety Commissioner Harry H. Brainerd reported there will be no extension in the July 31 deadline for the inspection of passenger cars, station wagons and motorcycles. The deadline falls on a Sunday, which means there is one day less in which to have vehicles inspected. Unless a vehicle bears the official sticker of approval on August 1, it will be illegal to operate it until the inspection has been made and the vehicle is found to be or placed into safe mechanical condition.
