Try These Hamburgers On Your Gas Grill
‘With a gas grill, cooking al fresco
is more enjoyable than ever before.
The controllable flame allows you
to select just the amount of heat
for rare, medium or well done. The
Pennsylvania Gas & Water Co. rec-
ommends you try these Country
Club, hamburgers at your next cook-
out
It's hard to believe today, but
it ‘wasn't too long ago when most
people waited for their vacations
to get out-of-doors.
Except for an occasional picnic,
“ve was confined to diningroom
or W¥%chen, and outdoor living was
an infrequent thing.
In the Back Mountain there is
ample testimony that out-of-doors
living and relaxing with eating for
additional pleasure to increase that
time. ;
Patios and heated swimming
pools, grills and gaslights—have
made the difference.
Sales representatives of the Penn-
sylvania ‘Gas & Water Co. report
a considerable increase. in the num-
ber of people in the Back Mountain
region who own outdoor cooking
equipment. One of the. reasons is
that people enjoy eating outside—
fresh air seems to sharpen the ap-
petite.
Homes are reflecting the outdoor
living trend and many in the Back
Mountain region are being designed
with one or more areas that have
the sky for a ceiling. Sunperches,
patios and pools are the prime fea-
tures in modern home building and
have become popular places to en-
tertain.
It's no strange sight here to see
home owners, even in the coldest
winter months, rolling their grills
into breezeways, garages or protect-
ed patios and then cooking out and
eating in.
The ' “patio chefs” hereabouts re-
port gas grills as excellent broiling |
and roasting appliances and with
controlled heat of the gas grills the
backyard chef can grill or broil or
roast gourmet dishes of turkey,
goose, roast beef, rainbow trout and |
shrimps.
