Donnelly, son of Harold Donnelly, Route 4, Dallas, and Seaman William J. Jones, Jr., | USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Jones, Sr. of Beech Street, Shav- ertown, are taking part in this year’s midshipman cruise. as crew- men of the nuclear powered guided missile cruiser USS Long Beach. Embarked in Long Beach are some 160 midshipmen from 52 col- - leges and wniversities from across the nation. They will receive train- ing in seamanship, gunnery, en- gineering, and navigation. The cruise is the major operation- al Mgrining phase of undergraduate nav¥ education. Cur- tain time for this century-old clas- sic is 8:30 p. m. A favorite of Abraham Lincoln, it was while watching a performance of this eccentric comedy that he was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth. The play, by Tom Taylor, was first - perfirmed in New York in 1858.
