Pledge Rid To YMCA
At a meeting Dallas Women of
Rotary reaffirmed a motion made
a month previously concerning the
plight of the Back Mountain YMCA.
It was generally agreed that our
community needs the facilities and
opportunities afforded by the YMCA
in this area, They believe that the
children of this region would suffer |
should the institution close its |
doors.
The Rotary Women wish atten- |
tion called to the floundering of |
the “Y” effort here due to lack of |
interest and information. If support |
is entirely withdrawn the decision
| to close the facility or not will be |
' taken from the hands of the local |
board. |
