Mrs. Daisy Crispell will celebrate
her 82nd birthday to-morrow with
her family.
Born on April 1, 1884, in a log
house near the Rock School in Rug-
gles to parents Nathan A., and Ella
May ‘ Miller Kocher, Mrs. Crispell
was educated in the Rock School
and the Pleasant Hill Academy,
Sweet Valley, returning to teach
one year at Rock and two years
at the old Laketon School.
She married Fred C. Crispell who
died December 29, 1953 and raised
four children, Clarence Oberst, Har-
veys Lake, Mrs. Ella Cobleigh Bing-
hamton, N.Y.; Mrs. Lela Sickler,
Lehman, and Mrs. Annabelle Eshel-
man, Thonotosassa, Florida. She has
thirteen grandchildren and six great
grandchildren.
