of the Unity of Czech Brethren
(Congregational). For ten years he

Suddenly At Home
Unexpected death from a sudden
heart attack took Mrs. Margaret
T. Brinola Monday morning at her
home in Shavertown.

Amos E. Oney, 57, was released
from suffering Monday morning
when he died at his home on Harris
Hill Road after a long illness.
Life resident of the Back Moun-
| tain, born at Outlet, he was a self-
employed painting contractor.. Dur-
ing his work on tall ladders, he
had suffered two serious falls.
He was a member of Kingston
Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Surviving are his widow, the for-
Bessie Kibbler; three sons,
Robert, Endicott, N. Y.; William of
Dalton, and hTomas of Edwards-
ville; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald
Franklin, Trucksville; brothers, Mar-
vin, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Jesse,
Wilkes-Barre; Clarence, Kingst
and ‘Milo, Harveys Lake; sisters
Mrs. Susie Wickham, Bethlehem;
Mrs. Mattie Casterline, Plymouth;
Mrs. Blanche Gallagher, Bingham-
ton, N. Y.; and eight grandchildren.
He will be buried today in Kocher
Cemetery, Elder Albert T. Neil col.
ducting services at 11 am. from
the = Snowdon Funeral Home in

Owen M. Jones, 54, Has
Fatal Heart Attack
Owen M. Jones, 54, suffered a
fatal heart attack at his home in
| Kunkle Saturday night. He (had
| not been in good health.
Native of Kunkle, he lived in
| West Pittston for a time, return-
ing to Kunkle thirty years ago. He
was a member of Kunkle Methodist
| Church, Kunkle Volunteer Fire
| Company, and Teamsters Union
Local 401. He was employed for
fourteen years by Luzerne Lumber
Company until retirement due to
