Use Of Gas In Home And Farm
Is Demonstrated
The versatility of gas in the home
and on the farm for cooking, cool-
ing, lighting, heating and even for |
television was on display January |

Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harris-
burg.
The 20- by-50 foot exhibit taking |
up 10 booths in the 14-acre Farm |
Show complex ' was one of the |
~ largest non-machinery displays at |
the free show which attracts people
from all over the world.
At least 15 leading manufacturers |
of gas-operated appliances contrib- |
. uted samples of the latest con- |
veniences the industry has to offer
the public.
Demonstrating the “total energy”
of gas was a televsision set which
has mystified viewers by its ab-
sence of any outside electrical |
power source.
Foretelling. the use of gas for
many, until recently, unforseen pur-
poses, it is powered by a gas- fired
