U. S. Bir Force
Two Back Mountain girls have
recently joined the ranks of the
U. S. Air Force. Airman Kathleen
daughter of Mrs. Dorothy
Jones, Shavertown has completed
training at Lackland AFB, Texas,
as a medical services assistant and
is now assigned to Gunter Air Force
Base, Alabama.
Miss Judith Rother, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rother, Maple-
wood Avenue, has been selected
for training at Amarillo, Texas, as
an Air Force Supply Specialist. She
too, has completed basic training
at Lackland Air Force Base.
