Fifty people sat down to a meal featuring Lasagna, following a social hour, where Mrs. Nancy Goeringer, instructor in Home Economics, had arranged a punch table with a whimsical chef centerpiece. Host for the evening was Milani Foods. Hazleton and Williamsport were represented as well as nearer districts. Dallas High School has a course designed for students who expect to enter the field of restaurant or * hotel management in varying capa- cities. In addition to academic work required for graduation, they re- . ceive ‘vocational ‘training, three | periods a week in specialized Home | Economics under Mrs. Goeringer. i These vocational students helped | in arrangement of tables and pre- | liminary work, and two of ‘them, Kathy Scoble and Tom Myers, man- ned the K.
