Mohr Girls Feted At
Sweet Sixteen Party
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mohr, 94
| Lehman Avenue and Mr. and Mrs.
Robert F. Moore, 22 Baldwin Street,
entertained at a sweet sixteen party
for their daughters, Miriam and
Susan, on Thursday October 21, at
6:30 p.m., at the Irem Temple Coun-
try Club. :
The setting was done in pink and
silver with tables set in pink linens
and highlighted with ivy and silver
ribbons down the center. Silver
candle sticks and pink candles were
placed among the ivy sprays. At
each girls’ place was a white dance
program with a pink rose atop it.
| The girls, their: fathers’ and
mothers received their guests as
they entered the dining room.
Miriam wore a gown of pink taf-
fetta’ with an Italian lace top. Susan
wore a white gown trimmed in pink
and green flowers. Each girl carried
an arm bouquet of pink roses.
Following a punch party, dinner
was served. Melvin William’s com-
bo played for dancing after the
dinner. : z

80th year. Her husband is 86 and

tion of small periods. Both are in
fair health. Mr. Kocher was an avid
hunter in his earlier years.
They are the parents of three
children, Evelyn, Florida; Richard,
Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Mildred Evon,
Harveys Lake. There are also ten
grandchildren and twelve great
grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. John Kritchen, Sr.,
57 Shaver Avenue, Shavertown, will
celebrate their 20th wedding anni-
versary on Wednesday, November 3. |
The couple were married at St.
Nicholas Church, Wilkes-Barre, by
Rev. Carl G. Ulrich.
Mrs. Kritchen is the former Marie
Miller, Wilkes-Barre. Her husband
is a native of Plains.
