From Humidity
recreation spot of Mr. and Mrs. Ray-
ner and Tom was Harveys Lake,
where the young man swam to his
heart’s content and his elders re-
laxed by the cool water. Lakes be-
ing a scarcity in England, this prov-
ed one of the highlights of their
| stay. Britishers go to the Opgpan.
Tom was most impressed the
big cars. and wide highway lanes
in the United States. This is in
direct contrast to the traffic jams
in England," where roads are not
as wide and there are many more
vehicles per mile.
Mr. and Mrs. Dean, the hosts, are
also new to this area having moved
here a year ago after residing in
California and Maine. It seems hard-
ly possible that the long awaited
visit has come and gone, says Mrs.
Dean and another pleasant inter-
lude has ended. Mr. Dean's mother
had visited them in 1960.
Trip over and back was made by
jet, only six and a half hours re-
turn, a most delightful way to span
the vast Atlantic Ocean.
