Mrs. Stella Schuler
Mrs. Stella Schuler, 88, Lehman,
died Monday night at Valley Crest,
where she had ben admitted two
weeks earlier. Services are sched-
uled for Friday at 2 p.m., Rev. Rob-
ert Germond officiating from the
funeral home at 263 Zerbey Ave-
nue, Kingston. Burial will be in
Wardan Cemetery.
She was born in Luzerne, daugh-
ter of James and Margarea Prutz-
man Anderson. Her husband Louis
died six years ago.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Flor-
ence Worthington, Allentown; two
grandchildren and twelve great-
gr andchildr en.
Former Resident Dies
At Drexel Hill
Word has been received that a
former resident of hSavertown, Mrs.
Kathryn L. Malkemes died Mon-
day afternoon at Drexel Hill.
Burial will be this afternoon at
Hanover Green, following services
conducted by Rev. Frederick Eidam,
at 2 p.m. from the funeral home
at 451 N. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.
Mrs. Malkemes was the widow
of a former Shavertown Justice of
the Peace who died in 1929. During
her residence in Shavertown she be-
olnge d to St. Paul's Lutheran
Church,
Arthur Priebe Has
Fatal Heart Attack
Services for Arthur G. Priebe
will be held Friday morning at 11
from the Hughes Funeral Home,
Forty Fort, Rev. Frederick Eidam
officiating.
Mr. Priebe, 58, suffered a fatal
heart attack Tuesday evening at
his home on Main Street in Shaver-
town.
Native of Boston, he had lived in
the Back Mountain for seven years.
He was a member of St. Paul's
Lutheran Church.
He leaves his widow, the former
Martha Gardner; a daughter, Mrs.
P.aula Dombeck, Wilkes-Barre; two
grandchildren; a brother Ernest,
Long Island.
