| Mrs. Lillian Marie Philo, 74, died
| Saturday afternoon at her home on
| Bunker Hill, where she had lived
for forty-eight years, moving there
from Wilkes-Barre.
She was buried Tuesday afternoon
in Mt. Greenwood Cemetery, Rev.

She was a native of Wilkes-Barre.
Her husband Leonard died three
years ago.

Dies At Age 47
Kenneth Traver, 47, Evans Falls,
died Saturday night at General
| Hospital. He was buried Tuesday
afternoon at Memorial Shrine, fol-

Home.
He was born at Evans Falls, son

After Long Illness

She was buried at Chapel Lawn

Dreher D. Whitesell
Dies At Nesbitt
Services for Dreher D. Whitesell,
76, Oak Lane, Trucksville, were
afternoon from
Disque Funeral Home with Rev.
Robert Germond officiating.
Interment was in Oakdale Cem-
etery.
Mr. Whitesell died Monday morning
in Nesbitt Hospital, where he had
been admitted February 18. Born
at Hunlock Creek, son of the late
Gilbert H. and Elizabeth Snyder
Whitesell, he was educated in Le-
hman Township Schools and re-
sided in the Back Mountain area
his entire life, the last fourteen of
which were spent in Trucksville.
Mr. Whitesell had been employed
with Gulf Refining Company for 32
years, retiring in 1955. He was a
member of Trucksville Methodist
Church, Lodge 655, F & AM, Wilkes-
Barre, and Bloomsburg Consistory.
He is survived by his wife, the for- °
mer Laura Rineman: a son, S/Sgt.
George E., with the Air Force,
Mather Air Force Base, Cal.
sisters, Miss Ruth Whitesell,
Gatoes, Cal.; Mrs. C. V. Lamoreaux
and a brother, Reed of Bonita
Springs, Fla.
