Myra Carlin spent the Christmas Holidays in Florida, leaving there December 18th and returning the 11th of January. Myra rode to Del Ray Beach, Florida with Ted Dymond and his son, Timmie, and was met there by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Fred Kunckel, with whom she lived while in Florida. Myra thinks Florida is a wonderful place and wouldn't mind a bit living there. Ted Dymond and Timmie went on to Homestead Florida to do the usual winter farming there. Timmie flew home by plane arriving Jan- uary 4th in order to return to school ‘the next day. Myra return- ed by bus - it took just thirty seven hours. Adolph Hetzer, “Times Square”, has just been retired after working for forty-years with the Board of Transportation in New York City. Mr. Hetzer worked in ‘the subway —after all that activity it is no wonder he is finding it hard to take it easy. Charles Doren, who formerly lived with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Stair, has completed his basic training with the U. S. Coast Guard in Cape May, N. J., and has been transferred to Chat- ham, Cape Cod, Mass. Roy Moss was confined to his home last week with a kidney in- fection. You can’t keep a “big” man down; he is back to work this week.
