Pinewood Arkport, N. Y. entertained
at a shower.
On Wednesday, December 30, the
dinner; the bridegroom, was given
a bachelor party by his ushers; the
parents of the bride held a New
Year's Eve Party, following re-
hearsal on New Year's Day, Dr.
‘and Mrs. Joseph Drapiewski, Tilbury
Terrace entertained at a bridal
dinner.

Senior Woman’s Club met Monday
night at the home of Mrs. Harold
LaBar with Mrs. Harold Brobst
serving as Co-Hostess.
Mrs. Warren Taylor, Program
Chairman, made several announce-
ments concerning the next few
meetings of the Club. The meeting
on January 13, will be held at the
Prince - of Peace Church, the pro-
gram will be presented by Chester
Chrzanowski of the Old River Road
‘Bakery ‘who will bring five cakes
and demonstrate the art of Cake
Decorating.
On February 10th, a Smorgas-
board will be held at The Brothers
Four. Mr. Edward Cobleigh has
been asked to speak on Russia.
The March meeting will be held
at Prince of Pea¢e Church; however

begin at 8:30 instead of 8:00.
On January 23rd, Dallas Woman's
Club Chorale will hold its annual
Banquet. The Chorale is direcied
by Mrs. William Carroll who i$
at present a patient in the Nesbitt
Hospital.
It was announced that Mrs. Rob-
ert. F. Moore and: Mrs. Howard
Wiley will act as Co-Hostesses for
the Dance to be held at Irem Temple
Country Club on February 10th.

Christmas Dinner
A lovely Christmas dinner was
enjoyed by everyone at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Phares,
Sweet Valley. Present were: Mr.
and Mrs. Luther Hocher, Karen and
Valerie, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Phares
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lanning, and
Edward Jr., Grace, Jefrey, Sharon

Lt. Wayne Moss, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Myron Moss, Broadway, has
been transferred from Big. Springs,

and she asked to call around noon
E.S.T., but gave up when it hadn't
gone through by 12:45 and she left
with Weber's for Dallas to. spend
a few day's with Helen Koytk and
friends.
Mr. and Mrs, Frantz and Dick.
finally were called shortly after one
o'clock and had a joyous few min-
utes with their son, he is up and
the next few weeks.
