Mrs. Southwell was driving with her husband and son when their car was struck broadside by a car filled with hunters on their way to a cabin. Admitted to Wayland Hospital, Mrs. Southwell was transferred to Nesbitt Hospital and her own physi- cian the next day. Her right knee cap was fractured and she suffered extensive facial cuts necessitating many sutures.
