return their Junior high drill team

senior high drill teams next year

turned to Mr. McCutcheon at the
Dallas Senior High School.

Third U. S. Coast Guard District
is now. reminding all interested
young women in its six-state area
that the deadline for its recently
announced SPAR enlistment pilot
projects is Dec. 31.
Applications are currently being
accepted for the program, which is
designed to meet a current SPAR
shortage, Forty women, between
the ages of 18 and 30, will be offer-
ed the opportunity to spend a year
on active duty for specialized career
training, and two years as enlisted
members of their hometown Coast
Guard Organized . Reserve Training
Units.
Candidates for the program are
slated to be selected prior to Feb. 1,
1965.

Carl F. Daubert, son of Mr. and
