| Jimmy’s lost out on its home lanes
| by 266 pins while Crown lost on its
i home ground by 71. However, the
| lead gained by the Crown girls
| overlapped Jimmy's total by 195
pins.
In the contest at Jimmy's, that

Ray McClary, a junior from Dallas
Senior High Schcol, was the only
Back Mountain entry in the PIAA
District 2 cross country race held |
last Saturday at Kirby Park, Kings- |
ton. Ray made a fine showing, |
finishing 11th out of 42 runners. |
The first place spot was won by Dan |
Payne of Meyers in a time of |
14:29.7 and second by, Pete Manoz-
zi, also of Meyers. Jim Kelly,
Coughlin, finished third.
This was the first year for Dis-
trict 2 to hold a cross country meet
here. George Jones, Wilkes-Barre
schools athletic director, was the
meet director. :
