Get-Acquainted Day At Back Mountain Y

| Fifty-two excited grade school
| girls bounced through a “Get-Ac-
| quainted Shindig’’ sponsored by the
| Back Mountain Branch YMCA on
| Saturday, October 31.
After introductions, the girls
were treated to baton instruction.
Because . of the very large attend-
ance, it was necessary to conduct |
| the gymnastics, table games and |
group singing at two sessions. The |
girls came together at the conclu- |
sion of the program for lunch. Milk
was provided by the Back Mountain
Branch YMCA.
On Saturday, November 7, the
girls will return for more fun, plus
an Art Contest. Entries will ‘be

| suffered: bereavements at the same
time this week:
| Mrs. Augusta Waldow, mother of

Germany at the age of 87. Mrs.
Waldow had visited here and her
son had made a number of trips
back home: to see his parent. He
drove his sister, Mrs. Agnes Willy
down to New Jersey on Tuesday
where she will fly with her brother,
Bruno Waldow, from John F. Ken-
tend funeral services abroad.
