Married October 10, 1942, Mrs.
Pcpe is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Seth Howell, Shavertown and
her husband is the son of Mrs.
George Trudgeon and the late War-
ren Pope.
Mrs. Pope is a well-known hair-
dresser and Mr. Pope is employed
by the Kanaar Corporation. They
are the parents of two children,
Ricky and Carol.

Dallas Senior High. Miss Vigborg |
gave a commentary on national
holidays and customs, fashions,
sports, and education. She also
showed color slides of her native
country, which is very similiar in s
climate and very colorful to the |
Back Mountain at this time of the
year. Miss Vigborg will continue her |
her education as a Civil Engineer |
when she returns home.
Mrs. Merton Jones, President of:
the Dallas Jr. Women's Club an-
nounced that a benefit dance will |
be held November 6th at the Con-
tinental Inn. “This will be a Fun
Night,” said Mrs. Jones. “Door priz-
es will be awarded, games played
and dancing from 9 until 1 am.
Proceeds will be given to PARC -
Pennsylvania Association For Re-
tarded Children. Cost will be small!
and Mrs. Jones hopes that members
guests and residents of the Back
Mountain who would like to have |
an enjoyable evening, and at the
same time contribute to this very
worthy cause, will attend.
It was also announced that Mrs.
Leonard Grobowski will be chair-
