Mr. and Mrs. James LaBar, Par-
rish Street, Dallas, observed their
thirteenth ‘wedding anniversary,

They have one son, Jimmy. They

Dallas Free Methodist Church by
| Rev. Joseph Sproule, D.D.
| Mrs. LaBar is the former Jane
| Harrison, daughter of Mrs. Thomas
| Harrison, Riverside, R.I, and the
ate Mr. Harrison.
Mr. LaBar is the son of Mrs.
| Timothy LaBar, Main Street, Dal-
las and the late Mr. LaBar. He is
employed with Royer Foundry

guest, Lady Seddon of Stanmore,
England. Lady Sedden is the wife
of Sir Herbert Seddon, prominent
English orthopedic surgeon.
Mrs. Seddon was in this country
to visit her daughter and son-in-
law, who have recently moved to
New Canaan, Conn. attend her
class reunion at Bryn Mawr and

Tunkhannock, was married to Eu-
gene M. Gaydos, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Rudy Gaydos, Carverton Road,
Trucksville, June 6th at 2 p.m. in
St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Tunk-
The mother of the bride wore a
light blue linen sheath dress with
white accessories and corsage of
white carnations. The bridegroom’s
sister, Mrs. Peter Arrighetti, Old
Forge, N. J., chose a black chiffon
dress, white accessories and a cor-
hannock. sage of white carnations. Mrs.
Rev. Edward P. Townsend officiat- | James E. Knecht, Dallas, grand-
ed at the double ring ceremony. | mother of the bride, selected a
pink linen sheath dress, white ac-
cessories and a corsage of white
carnations.
Following the ceremony, a re-
ception was held in the church par-
lors, after which the couple left on
a trip to Canada and the New Eng-
land States. For her going away
outfit, the bride wore a lavender
and white pin-stripe suit, white ac-
cessories and white carnation cor-
sage.
Miss Jennifer Jerald, Tunkhannock,
was soloist and Robert Snover or-
ganist. The church was decorated
with bouquets of white carnations,
gladioli and candelabras.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a white floor length
gown of nylon sheer over taffeta
with a, fitted bodice featuring a
square neckline edged in schiffi em-
broidered cumberbund from ‘under
which flowed a sheer apron cover-
ing bows of embroidered ruffles
which fell into a chapel train. Her
headpiece was a crown of pearls
and aurora stones to which was at-
tached a veil of illusion. She car-
ried a Colonial bouquet of white
carnations and roses.
The bride's sister, Miss Linda
Clark, was maid of honor. Her
strapless = light blue satin gown
featured a floor length bell-shaped
skirt and was topped with a sleeve-
less jacket. She wore a matching
crown headpiece of seed pearls
with a circular veil and carried a |
colonial bouquet of blue and white
carnations,
Joseph Mordent, Jr., Nicholson,
was best man. Ushers were Ralph
J. Elston, Dallas, cousin of the
bride and Joseph ‘Chambers, Me-
hoopany.
