NOTICE is hereby given that the
Lehman Merged School District
which is comprised of the former
Lehman Township School District,
Jackson Township School District
and Ross Township School District,
Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, and
Noxen Township School District,
Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, in-
tends to pass a resolution on the
11th day of June, 1964, imposing
a Five ($5.00) Dollar per capita
school tax under the authority of
the act of June 25, 1947, PL. 1145,
and its amendments. The reason for
this tax is the increased cost of |
operation and its static condition
of other revenues. It is estimated
that said tax shall produce a rev-
enue of $12,156.00 during the fiscal
school year.

Church Street Crash
Two cars collided nearly head-on
on Church Street on Saturday morn-
ing around 9:45, and one careened
into a parked car, damaging it also.
