The eighth grade winners were Damon Young, Scott Schuster and Paul Priebe. Final exams will be held June third, fourth, and fifth. No com- ment ! Orientation night will be held June first at seven thirty in the Junior High Auditorium. All parents and students of next year’s seventh grade are urged to attend. Student Council elections will be held June first. The candidates are: for president, Jane Mitchell and Robert Parry; for vice president, Mollie Townsend and Joan Nelson; for treasurer, Lucy Fleming and Al- an Brown; and for secretary, Judy Wilson and Debbie Allen. The track team ended its season last week as they went to the Dis- trict Two track meet at Scranton. Six members of the team were en- tered. James LaBar bestowed honor on Dallas—he placed third in the one-mile run. We would like to con- gratulate the track team, and their coach, Mr. William Price, on a suc- cessful season. The seventh and eighth grade baseball team’ was handed its first loss by Tunkhannock, seven to four. The ninth grade team has a make- up game with Luzerne scheduled for next week.
