The wedding will take place in Wyoming Avenue Christian Church on May 30 at 2:30 P.M. Tea table was attractively set with a silver tea set and a brass and copper coffee set owned by Mrs. Marian Reeves, Centermore- land. The tea set is a Samovar, from Russia and purchased by Mrs. Reeves in Iran. Silver candelabra were complimented by yellow daf- fodils and jonquils. Main Street, Shavertown, cele- brated their 45th wedding anni- versary, Saturday, May 2. Wed in Broad Street Methodist Church, Pittston, by Rev. Alex Decker, the couple were attended by Mrs. Alice Decker and Miss Ma- bel Decker. Mrs. Yeust is the former Jennie Lamoreaux, Kingston. Her husband is a native of Wilkes-Barre. The Yeusts have resided in the Back Mountain for 30 years, the last twelve of which have been spent in ‘Shavertown. Mr. Yeust was associated with Glen Alden Coal Company for 42 years and is now employed by Joyce Western Gas Lines. He re- tired recently as Fire Chief of the Shavertown Volunteer Company in which he has been an active mem; ber since moving to the community. While a resident of Kingston he served on, its fire fighting force for 16 years. He is also a member of the Kings- ton Township Ambulance Associa- tion and a willing volunteer when needed.
