Their daughter, Sandy, is patiently waiting while Mom and Dad get the “bicycle built for two” in position. The Kabeschats Enjoy Traveling By Bicycle When most people, on Sunday afternoon, are out driving in their cars on the busy highways, Gus and Rosemary Kabeschat and Sandy can be found clocking up the miles around the Hedden Circle on their bikes. The Kabeschats, avid bike en- thusiasts, have had many pleasant picnic outings traveling to the coun- try side on their bikes. But, they usually travel in early Spring and late Fall before the summer traffic starts and after the summer rush on the highways. The story of the “tandem bike” that Rosemary and Gus now use is a humorous one. It was a Father’s Day giftto Gus, from Rosemary and Sandy, but the big problem was where to hide it until unveiled on Father’s Day Morn of last year. Nextdoor neigh- bor, Miss Margaret Wood, came to the rescue and it was delivered to her home and stored in herstorage room. Of course, the big mystery in the neighborhood when it was de- livered was, “What is Miss Wood going to do with the “bicycle built for two. The Bob Botsfords, across the street, wondered for weeks until Miss Wood wheeled it out of hiding, Father’s Day Morn, and parked it in the Kabeschats’ EE oe
