Help For Freddie:
The Key Club and wrestlers will
participate in a “Slave Labor Day.”
For this, the boys will work wvol-

hour, in order to achieve ‘their
$1,000.00 goal. This goal is to
| send [Freddie Hennebaul,' a Lake-
Lehman wrestler who broke his
back two years ago during a meet,
to Magee Hospital, Philadelphia
where they will teach him to use
his artificial muscle. Freddie will
then be able to feed himself and
type, thus enabling him to earn
a living. Some of the boys will
work one day, others have volun-
teered to work for two.
The Keyettes are also sponsor-
ing a bake sale to be held at the
Acme Market, Shavertown this
Saturday, May 9, at 9:00 o’clock
to help the Key Club and wrestlers
meet their goal. Anyone wishing
to donate baked goods to help

score as six runs crossed the plate
in the first inning. They added six
more runs in the bottom of the

Junior Class Students
Should Apply Now
Juniors in high school A should
definitely begin application proced-
ures to colleges immediately. The
increasing number of students. ap-
plying each year will’ make it more
difficult for students to receive the
colleges of their choosing. ‘Making
early application, visiting colleges,
and discussing the admission poli-
cies of the various schools will assist
the students and parents in making
wise choices of these schools.
The King’s College SCAT test will
be administered to junior students
on Saturday, May 9, at 9:00 a.m.
This test is offered by King’s Col-
lege officials each year, free of
charge, to any students in the jun-
ior class. The test results are then
returned to the high school and
the student informed by = King's
College officials = concerning ‘the
achievement scores made.
The student will be notified con-
cerning his possibility for entrance
into King’s College without exami-
nation, or with further testing for
acceptance. The scores and infor-
mation received from King's College
is another measuring instrument by
which the student and parents can
judge the student’s possible suc-
cess in collegé. Interested students
are asked to leave their names in
the office. The test will be admin-
istered by guidance personnel from
the Dallas Senior High School.
