Huntsville-Idetown Road, Dallas,
announce the birth of their second
child, a son, John, Jr. born at
Nesbitt Hospital on April 21, 1964.
The newcomer weighed 7 pounds,
six ounces and is twenty inches tall.
Mother is the former Alice Ide,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis V.
Ide. She is a member of the Tunk-
hannock Joint Schools faculty.
Mr. Hudak is employed by Dwight
K. Fisher. There is another child,
Suzanne Jane, who will be three in
July.

Executive Board Meeting
The retiring Evecutive Board of
Dallas Senior Women’s Club enter-
tained new Board members at a
joint dinner meeting Monday even-
ing at the home of Mrs. Henry Moy-
er, Mountain View Drive, Shrine
Acres. Ee
Mrs. Ross Lewin was dinner
chairman and was assisted by Mrs.
Crozier Wileman, Mrs. Howard Wi-
ley, Mrs. Fred Eck, Mrs. Dan Rich-
ards, and Mrs. Henry Moyer.
Following the dinner, the retir-
ing board held a meeting, conducted
by Mrs. Howard Wiley, to conclude
business of the year.
The new board then met with
Granville Sowden, president,
was unable to attend ‘the installa-
tion of officers at the recent club
meeting, was installed as Assistant
Treasurer by Mrs. Wiley, Past Pres-
ident. Discussion followed on the
new budget which will be presented
at the May meeting. Mrs. Warren
Taylor, program chairman, announ-
ced the Women’s Club Chorale will
entertain at the next meeting and
members are invited to bring
guests.

College Misericordia Students Enjoy Junior-Semior Prom
Two hundred students of College
Misericordia and their escorts at-
tended the Junior-Senior Prom Sat-
urday evening in ‘the Redwood
Room of Merrick Hall on the Dallas
campus.
An Oriental theme provided the
background: for ‘the social event.
Lotus ponds, Japanese Lanterns and
a Japanese Cherry Tree at-
tractively arranged by. the decora-
tions committee lent a truly festive
air to the happy occasion.
Elaine Chernesky was crowned
as Miss Recordia by Mary Lou
Daley, Junior Class President. The
title, Miss Recordia is an honor
given annually to a senior for out-
standing accomplishment.
Among Dallas residents who at-
tended the Prom were, left to right,
