Mr.

Are Happy To Return To States
March 6 was a happy day for Mr.
and Mrs.. John Butler, Shavertown
for their - daughter, -Sharon - and
family had docked in New York
that" morning.
After 22 months in Friesing, Ger-
many, Mr." and Mrs. Peter "Luka-
sacage, Jr., were home again. Little
Susan, 15 months, who ‘had been
born in Germany, accompanied
them. !
The young couple are
with the Butlers and visiting his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Luka-
savage, W. Center Street, until the
young technical engineer is reas-
signed by General Electric by whom
he is employed.
Mrs. Lukasavage says it is won-
derful to be back in the States. She
said Germany was one of the
designated Switzerland as being an-
other ' charming land.
France, England, Belgium, Lich-
tenstein, Austria and the Nether-
lands were among the countries
visited by Mr. and Mrs. Peter
Lukasavage.
Nearly the whole of Germany
was also covered in their travels
but Sharon deplored the fast traf-
| fic on the highways of that country
staying | and disclosed that no speed limits
were observed.
Their trip home was made by
boat, taking six days after sailing
from Bremerhaven, aboard the US
United States. With rough seas
all the way, their experience aboard
ship were not as pleasant as expected
and it was with a happy heart that
the travelers set foot once again
cleanest countries in Europe and on their native land.
