Bob, assisted by Ronald Sinicrope, urges seniors to return patron forms as soon as popsible so that names can be arranged in correct layout form in preparation for the yearbook. Yearbook Committees are busily assembling all necessary materials for the 1964 edition. Miss Morris, Senior High School librarian in charge of layout, has been meeting with the various committees in order to coordinate all assignment schedules distributed among the members. Beverly Eck, editor of the Yearbook, and Thomas Peirce, senior class president, are assist- ing her in supervising the work being done by the committees. Miss Morris, is planning to com- plete portions of the publication in March. Although orders for the 1964 -book have nearly exhausted the number to be sold, there are still a few available for sale. These can be ordered from Mr. Evans, in Roan 2, during the daily activity ods. INTRAMURALS By Dee-Dee Pope: Girls’ intramurals continued this week. Maggie Lawson was high for Room 2, defeating Room 4, 58-0. Room 14 defeated Room 17B, 21-9, with ‘Cindy Galletly high for the winners. Referees were Connie Con- daras, Rosemary Zekas, Peggy Fleming, and Tessie Cushner. The Company repre- sentative, Mr. Lavery explained and demonstrated, with experiments, the use of ‘Laser” light rays for med- ical purposes and for communica- tion. His experiment showed how his voice could travel through a light ray. They consist of a black vest, with gold buttons, to be worn over a white long sleeve blouse, and a black pleated skirt with gold pleat inserts. Previously the cheer- leaders have made their own uni- forms. The group earned the money to buy their new uniforms by spon- soring the Lake-Lehman sweatshirt sale earlier this year. The senior Lettermen received their Letterman sweaters on Friday, February 21. The sweaters are black knit wool with a gold letter. New furniture has been installed in the lobby of the high school. It consists of a desk, two Deacon’s benches, and nine captain's chairs. All are done in Early American style and made of mahogany wood. Lake-Lehman students, under the supervision of the physical educa- tion teachers, have begun practic- ing for a gym exhibition to be held March 13. The program will consist of tumbling, calisthenics with Indian pins, dances, and some stunts on the ropes, rings, and iron horse. The best students from each class have been chosen to participate in the exhibition, The Lake-Lehman cheerleaders (have been selected to represent the {North League basketball All-Stars in the Dream Games to be held at the lest ‘Side Central Catholic High School Gym.
