KINGSTON TOWNSHIP TAX
ORDINANCE
Notice is hereby given that the
Realty Transfer Tax Ordinance in
effect during the year 1963 which
imposed a tax of 1% on sales in-
volving the transfer of title of real
estate located in the Township of
Kingston, Luzerne County, Pennsyl-
vania, has been reenacted by the
Supervisors of the Township of
Kingston without substantial
change, and the same' tax is im-
posed for' the year 1964. In accord-
ance with the Act of June 25, 1947,
P.L. 1145 as amended, the tax is
now paid by the transferor, and is
to ‘be paid regardless of whether
or’ not any part of the transaction
takes ; place in ‘the Township of
Kingston.

property within the said Borough

Tax rate for general Borough pur-
poses, the sum of (15) mills on
each dollar of assessed valuation;
For debt purposes the sum of (37, )
mills on each dollar of assessed
valuation;
For other purposes, as follows:
Light, water and Fire the sum
of (3%) mills on each dollar of
assessed valuation;
Making a total tax rate for all
Borough purposes of Twenty-two
(22) mills.
